Winter Vacation

This has been such a fun holiday with Jordan. She almost could open her presents on her own...loved her baby doll...said "oh baby!" over and over. She cooked for hours with her kitchen and rode in her new car. She got an insane amount of "stuff"...clothes, more toys, a savings bond, gift cards. We are actually going to save a few toys to get out at a later time. She continues to have her own litle personality and had her first huge temper tantrum yesterday at Buffalo Wild Wings when we were out with friends...I actually left with Jordan and Rob drove Molly and Trevor home. The start of the holidays!

This year as always I have so very much to be thankful for. I am including some free pics we took at the Yorktown Von Maur...Jordan had a ton of fun before the meltdown...she even took a train ride and had a blast. Thanksgiving was amazing...of course Jordan ate nothing but apple pie and crackers...gotta love a toddler's diet. Gotta run...she is taking things out of the closet. Happy Holidays!

15 months!

We just got back from Jordan's 15 month check up. She is 32 inches (90th% height) and 24 pounds (69% weight). She pretty much turned her head and screamed most of the time..DELIGHTFUL! She says about 6 words now: No ( a favorite), hi, sissy (dog), mama, dada, and the ever popular uh-oh. She also got 4 shots and will need to go back for the second flu shot next month. Overall Jordan is hysterical...i am loving her tantrums and foot stomps...she continues to develop her little personality!

The Terrible Twos Already?

Ugh...I can't wait for Jordan to start talking more. She has taken to screaming, howling, and grunting. It is a little challenging to hear most of the evening. But then minutes later she is happily stacking blocks. I worry what te actual twos will be like. She is so worth it! Love her more each day!

Go away germs!

So it has been a bit of a long weekend over here. Miss Jordan started running a temp Thurs. evening so Rob stayed home with her. Her fever ended up spiking Fri night to over 103...scary! We went to the dr. where they checked her out....no prob with throat, ears, etc...asked if her urine smelled...sure enough it did. They put in a catheter to test for a urinary tract infection. Let me tell you Jordan screamed and flinched and it was awful and I felt like a crap mom. Test cme back negative but they gave her an antibiotic. After sleeping on and off most of the day I am hopeful that we are almost over this bump. Boo to flu season!

The Great Pumpkin

This weekend we went to Kuipers to get some pumpkins and cider donuts. The weather was beautiful and we had a blast..we rode on the train and saw the bunnies, which were Jodran's favorite! I am attaching some super fun pics from the day!

I love Saturdays...currently my husband and Jordan are out running errands....grocey store and trip to grandma and grandpa's. Rob is cooking our anniversary dinner tonight...steaks on the grill...yummy! After Jordan's nap we are heading to the pumpkinn farm.

Some Jordan updates...she is all over the place and into everything. New words include...mama, dada, sissy (the dog...we call her Jordan's sissy), and NO! I can't believe how much I love her..so blessed! Attaching a cute pic from our Jersey vacay this August! Enjoy the day!

5 years!

Today marks 5 wonderful years with my husband. After 5 years we have made a home together and have had our amazing daughter, Jordan. I am so glad I am married to my best friend. Here's to the next 5!
