The Long Lost Blog...

So it has been a while since I have blogged, and I want my girls to have a record of what their little lives look like.  That being said, here is a little snapshot into what they have been up to:

Jordan, almost age 4

SASS and INDEPENDENCE are the words that best describe this fireball.  She has become very at ease with expressing her opinion and letting her thoughts be known.  She can still throw temper tantrums that would rival any terrible two year old.  She can also be the sweetest little thing.  She is such a lover to her little sister and is my best bud to run errands with.  She is currently obsessed still with princesses.  She loves to dance and be a part of her tiny team cheer squad.  She enjoys listenting to music and current faves are One Direction, Taylor Swift, and Nicki Minaj!  She can pretty much write her own name and is potty trained at night now!  Yahoo!

Brooke, age 18 months

LITTLE LOVER is her description.  This doll is a giggly, smily ball of energy.  She goes with the flow and is in awe of her big sister.  She is probably the pickiest eater ever..no veggies and few fruits.  Pasta and goldfish can sometimes be her staples.  She can put two small words together, (hi Mama, etc) and can babble and name quite a few items.  She understands so much though.  She loves to read, and is a fan of Elmo.  She also loves parks and is independent at slides.  Another new face is drawing and painting.  She also loves her cozy coupe car and could go in and out of that door all day long if we let her.  She is a full fledged toddler and is running everywhere...getting into everything and taking items out of the cabinets.  Another new antic is taking off her dirty dipaer..that is a fun one.

Since I am one of the world's worst historians, here is a hodge podge of photos...enjoy!

I am One!!

We had a very small party for Brooke a few days before her actual birthday, but we had a blast.  Brooke enjoyed being at the center of attention and really showed off some of her new cute skills and facials.  She really doesn't say much you can understand, but loves uh-oh and can say it perfectly when something falls.  She loves to feed herself and bats away the spoon from me.  We are working on the sippy cup...she is doing ok with it, but still much prefers her bottle.  I wish I could say she is a great night sleeper, but that is not entirely true.  She still sometimes gets up to chat or cuddle or drink some milk.  Working on it!!  She is down to one nap pretty consistetnly for about 1.5-2 hours around noon.  Her fave meals are cheese, mandarin oranges, yogurt, pasta, bread and bagels, gerber graduate crunchies and yogurt melts, honeydew melon, and rice.  She isn't standing independently but is the world's fastest crawler and pulls up on everything.  She has taken a few small steps while holding on to something.  She is the happiest and smileiest baby ever. ..seriously her laugh and smile are so contagious.  She adores her big sis completely.  Only bummer has been a few bad ear infections and constant runny nose.  Hopefully it stays at just that...stay away flu.  I can not believe a whole year has gone by so fast....my angel has completed our little family and made my life so special.  We love you Brooke Rose Dial!!
