The never ending cold

Well we are on Spring Break here and the weather is awful....continually cold. we haven't even been able to go out. We did visit Daddy at work for lunch, played at Little Monkey Bizness where Jordan told kids that got by her "no baby!", sit on the potty for hours and hours, watch elmo and dora, paint our toe nails, took polly to the vet (polly is starting to really slow down and has fluid on her lungs!), and went to the library. Today we are going back to the dr for a cold that won't go away despite antibiotics. Jordan has been a little fussy lately...wonder if it may be more teeth?? Anyways she is sassy, sassy, sassy! Tells daddy no all the time, puts several words together, and really communicates pretty well. Still hates teeh brushing but loves those sweets...constatnly asks for cookies and juice! I may not win that parent of the year award after all!

Gymnastics, Bowling, and a Nasty Cold

Well, overall this has been a really healthy winter and I truly hesitate to say that because we are not out of the woods yet. Ever since Jordan's ear tubes, it has been pretty smooth sailing, but we finally did get hit with a yucky cold. Just lots of congestion, a litte coughing, and tons of snot! We are beyond ready for the warmer weather, and Jordan loves playing outside. She asks to go "outside?" every chance she gets. Hopefully soon! We have been keeping busy and have discovered she loves bowling at The Lucky Strike in Yorktown. She pushes the bowl and claps. Fun! She really loves the bar food and has a developed a special liking to the mac and cheese bites. Today Jordan started her Little Learners class which is some gymnastics, some circle time and some crafts. She didn't like listening to the directions but loved playing and being with the other kids. She is more and more fun. She loves to take polly for walks, wear shoes and jewelry, watch Dora and the Backyardigans (Elmo is kinda on the way out but still a favorite) and hang with mom and dad. She talks all the time and easily puts two words together. She has a total of 12 teeth and still loves those early mornings. My heart is overfilled with love!
